I Gotta Think
A Day Mixed Up
Today at the institute is the second day of testing the student’s English aptitude. This will determine whether they should be promoted or stay at the same level. It’s usually supposed to be a light day, but it got a little heavy with the multiple meetings being held between teachers and parents. I’m hoping that’s going well.
Also, the new schedule has made it difficult for me to adapt and cope. I’m sure I’ll find a way to solve it. I need to plan a bit more and find ways to get around these problems.
Feeling alright, but…
I’m feeling better physically these days. I got a bit more energy to move around after finishing my two physical check-ups a few days ago. Yet, there are some things lingering that’s preventing me from moving full speed. I still have to deal with obstacles that impede on my progress.
Like I said, I’m thinking and planning on how to deal with this. It’s never easy to think because you actually have to use your mind to get it done. A lot of our actions are done out of habit or ritual. Many people would rather do hard labour for 8 hours than to think for 1 hour! I guess that’s why Henry Ford said this:
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it.
I’m not a big fan of it either, but it’s the only way for me to get out this rut.
