Making That Step Forward
The Overloaded Schedule
Friday was hectic. There was a lot of prepping to do at work and home. I had family matters to attend to. I had a lot of classes in a row to teach. I couldn’t believe the craziness I was dealing with. I was like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car.
Despite all that, I’m not complaining. I just don’t have time for that. For me, there’s are things I have to do and execute. If I took the energy to whine about every single problem, I would be so exhausted.
It’s not worth it.
Keep Moving Toward my Dreams
Despite all this stuff happening, I still have to make progress on my goals. I need to take a few baby steps here and there and know that I’m that much closer to achieving them.
Unfortunately, I’ve stopped moving forward with all the things happening lately. It was a mistake, but I couldn’t fit them into my mind. They just got squeezed out.
The problem is simple: They’re just not a part of my routine.
The solution is just as simple: Make the important things in life a part of what I do each day. They need to written down somewhere so I can see them each day. They need to be a focus of my life. They should be very important in my priorities. They should be deep in my thoughts and my soul. I need to them to be visible wherever I am.
Easier said than done? It can be if I think it’s possible.
Things to Consider for Today:
-
The important things in life should be in your thoughts as often as possible.
-
Be commited to some sort of daily action towards it.
-
Know in your mind as long as you don’t give up, you’ll get there eventually.
