On a Cold Monday
-18°C
My goodness. In my seven years living in Korea, I’ve never face temperatures similar what I seen quite a few times in Canada. It’s been like this on and off for the month of January. Tough weather indeed.
Unfortunately, the clothes available here isn’t as warm as it is in Canada. I actually had to buy a two pairs of slacks that have some sort of insulation. Heating? I had to turn it up so the air wouldn’t be as cold. I’m thankful that my house and work is warm for the most part.
The cold weather has affected me in terms of my writing. It’s been hard to write the entries in this weather. For some reason, my eyes have been blurry and I’ve already made one trip to the optometrist this past month. I may have to go there again…
What are you Thankful for?
Depsite the cold weather and less than ideal eyesight, I’m thankful. I’m happy. I’m relatively healthy. I’m glad that I got this blog as my platform to write out my thoughts. I’m looking to be positive and work for the best. I know what I want to accomplish and decided I’ll start with working on this blog entry. I hope that people reading this blog is in good cheer and happy. If you’re not, take the time to think about the good things in life. It’s something that must be done daily.
Perhaps the past few days have been disappointing. Maybe things didn’t go according to plan. What’s done is done and it’s time to start working again. It’s only too late if you think so.
Dream. Write them down. Look over them every day and make those few steps to get there. I know you can do it! Be in good cheer and spirits. I’ll send a prayer on your behalf.
Things to Consider for Today:
-
What are your dreams?
-
Write them down.
-
Look at them and ask yourself, “What can I do today to take a few steps forward to making those dreams come true?”
-
Pray about it.
-
Keep them close to you and feel good about life.
