On the Subway

by macklc on May 17th, 2011

On the subway now.

Wow.

I blink and the days flash by. Honestly, I wondered for years why I do the things I do and NOT do the things I want to do.

Then I read this book called, “Do the Work” by Steven Pressfield and it explains a lot of why it is that way. Now there is an enemy that is not only visible to me, but a quite formable foe. Unfortunately my win-lose record with this beast leaves a lot to be desired. It is an enemy that will be killed over and over again until I breathe my last breath. If I let my guard down, it has no qualms of killing me.

Sure there are other enemies in my life, but this enemy IS THE ONE I must beat with blunt force trauma since I can see it everywhere. Where is my club…

Oh, what’s it’s name?

Resistance.
