Recovery Mode
The day is filled with different things happening constantly. Today I took this day to do what I always do: regroup my thoughts and recover from the days I’ve spent my time working.
I feel that life is quite precious and special. It’s not something to take for granted and I should make the most of it. It’s funny when I was younger, my impressions of time was that it was infinite and I had lots of it. At times, I feel I wasted quite a bit of it and regret those times of inefficiency. However, the links of time are all connected and has brought me up to this point. If one link was changed, I may not be here where I am at this moment and I’m quite happy to be where I am. My family is fantastic and the teachers and students I teach are wonderful. The friends I am in contact with have given me insight and wonderful words of encouragement and critique. The friends and family I don’t hear from I hope are living a blessed life. Regardless, everything happens for a reason.
Then, I know life is good.
Now, when I work on a task, take a bus or prepare something, I am very aware that time is finite and quite accurate to someone or something. Ideally, time should be accurate to person using it, but that’s not always the case. In those cases, it’s best to match the time to that someone or something. That shows integrity and a mastery of time. Keep practicing and it will lead to greater mastery.
Be aware of your time and know that it is a one time event. Prepare for it. Enjoy it. Be thankful that you have this time to share with others. I’m going to do that by wrapping up this entry. Take care and have fun with your time!
