Restful

This Sunday, I took the time to rest and really enjoy my time with family.
At church, today’s sermon is about prayer, more specifically King Hezekiah’s prayer asking God for more life(2 Kings 20:2~3). The Bible said that this king was proper and did what was right in the eyes of the LORD(2 Kings 18:3), yet he was going to die soon. After praying bitterly, God would answer his prayers by leaving His words to Isaiah that he’ll live an extra 15 years. (2 Kings 20:5~6)
I believe that God answers all prayers in his time. Whether it’s answered immediately or delayed, I know God will reply to me and others in his perfect time.
Simple Things Brings a Smile
After church, I had a nice family meal at a restaurant and took a nap. When I got up, We walked around and enjoyed the time together talking and playing games. In the evening, we did a little shopping. All the worries I had this past week went away like the clouds in the sky. It’s amazing how the simple things brings so much joy. It brings my life back into proper perspective.
Back on the Horse
Tomorrow will be a slightly different schedule. The hottest days of summer will come and with that new classes. Sort of. I look forward to this week and continue on.

I see that you quote from the bible. Do you know what god name is?

I’ve always believed God from the Bible is God and there’s no other.

Hi,
I believe we are speaking about the same god. You can look up Psalm 83:18. you can find his name there.(its also mention at many different places. If its mention there let me know.
Also in 1 Corinthians 8:5, 6 ,the scripture tells us that there is others that are called “gods”. But the bible teaches us of one God the Father of whom all things are.
God and Lord are titles. It’s important to know god name as his name should be sanctified.
Hope this helps.
