2016 Christmas Festivities

Life + Tech

In life, there’s tech.

In where we live, we can’t avoid it. We have our smartphone in hand. We have a notebook close by.

As much as we would like to minimize things in tech, we still maximize in tech. We can’t avoid it.

We must avoid addiction and the eye candy that comes on Facebook, Twitter, email, and news publications. They are not helpful to our productivity.

We must control tech. We must use tech to our advantage like the kid in Home Alone 2 beating up the sticky burglars.

The more we are in control, the better our lives are. Yes, there is a paradox of giving up and letting go. But that’s for another time.

The Uncertainty of Writing

When the words come down onto the keyboard, I don’t know what to expect.

Sometimes I feel fear. The words typed down will come out like crap. The words on the screen are uninspired. I fear the latter than the former.

If possible, I want the fire to burn inside and burn my keys.

After the fear of the first few words comes the excitement. And a slight headache. This exercise of writing is a must. As drawing is a must.

Creation in every part of our fiber and being is something we must aspire and execute daily.

The Installation of Grammarly

So I have installed this program that checks my grammar. I don’t know what to make of it yet since it’s only been 1 day. My expectations… whoa, a grammar error.

Nice.

It’s nice to see someone else (a program no less) looking over my shoulder. That’ll lead to better posts, no?

Merry Christmas and Have a Safe Weekend

One day at a time. One hour at a time. One step at a time. One word at a time. And complete the steps.

I’m glad to be part of this journey. I look forward to the much more during the weeks. months, and years to come.

I find writing Cyper similar to Marcus Aurelius writing Meditations. No, I don’t think this will be another Meditations, but I hope readers will either be entertained, encouraged or inspired by what I write.

Merry Christmas. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
